Dyanna huffs, lavender eyes rolling hard in an exaggerated display of annoyance. Baelor feels a strong itch to put her over his knee but he buries it, only gripping her chin lightly in reprimand. “Words, baby. I cannot divine the answers out of your little huffs and puffs and womanly sighs.”
Dyanna notches her chin in the dip of his strong collarbone, dragging a sharpened, painted nail up the line of his throat. Unconventional, scandalous even, for a princess – but Dyanna has been unabashedly untraditional since her wedding night. “Your claim on my Aeri,” she cuts straight to the point, “Maekar tells me he's lost her maidenhead to you in a stupid bet.”
Baelor stiffens, dropping his hold on her chin.

He hasn’t done any wrong. He defended an innocent girl against a vicious bully. So the bully happened to be a Prince of the realm, big fucking deal. There's like twenty of them. Okay, no, he wouldn’t say that part. Yes, it was a big deal, but no, he didn’t know he was striking a prince when he struck him. That he got to know after the fact. So he’s innocent by account of ignorance. Yes, that would be his case.
