“… Where even is here?”
“Hell, probably.” Simon spat, “Reserved special for us sinners.”
He turned and began to walk away, not even glancing back to see if she was following. Every step he took sounded heavier than it should've, and there was a loud, metal groan, no matter how small the movement. It was unsettling, because Ava knew what it sounded like.
It sounded like the Iron Lung.
