John swore to him, Matt, and Smitty that he would stay clean. Cold turkey.
But he just couldn't. I mean, between his depressive episodes of feeling so lonely, crying his room into a small ball, and having almost no one to talk to, John couldn't take it. John needed to feel something; he didn't care what it was. Pleasure. Pain. Discomfort. Despair. Anything would work, anything. Cause he was at the brink of breaking.
