I realize the canon of Origins allows you to play an Elven mage if you do the Mage origin storyline. Though the Sabre Clan had two mages until DA 2 as well as the game allowing you to play as a mage without ties to the Circle, and Inquisition lets you play the Inquisitor as a Dalish mage, so I wanted to play with the idea of a Warden Female Mahariel who is a mage as well with rogue skills.
