Summary
“I don’t understand you,” he finally admitted, equal parts delighted and baffled by this revelation, “But I am glad it played out this way.”
“I bet you are,” Alastor scowled. He was hiding something- something, something, whatever. Vox couldn’t care if he tried. He tightened the wire around him, pulling him down into his lap before immediately releasing him, giving him the option to move if he wanted.
“It’s more fun having you as my prisoner,” he buzzed, and when he stayed put, he reached out to brush a stray hair from his cheek, delighting in that brief flood of color to his face, trying not to think about the way his knees were pressed on either side of his thighs.
“Does it ever get boring? I mean, seventy years of relentlessly obsessing over one person…really, Vincent, how long will it take you to move on?”After decades of fighting, Vox has finally won. The radio demon is on his string now, and everything is looking up for him. Only, once he finds himself alone with him, he's forced to realize that maybe he doesn't hold as much power over him as he thought- and maybe he doesn't even want to. Will he give in to Alastor's games, or is he strong enough to finally take control over him?

Summary
“You’re really sticking to that story, aren’t you?” Alastor chuckled, amiably flicking one of the antennae sprouting from his head. His mismatched eyes were swimming with an emotion Alastor couldn’t place, but there was something so raw about it that it felt almost embarrassing to witness. Too vulnerable, too open. He really did make it so easy to mess with him. If Alastor were capable of empathy, perhaps he would have felt bad for him- it wouldn’t be too long before this place finally caught up to him, showed him the price one paid for exposing that sort of vulnerability. “You know…if you asked me now,” he lulled, smile softening, “Maybe I’d say yes.”
“I-wait-what?” that mushy expression shifted into awe and then, thankfully, skepticism. He wasn’t completely stupid, after all. “I know a trap when I see one. I don’t know what you’re plotting, Radio Demon, but I’m not falling for it.”
“C’mon, Vincent! Who knows when you’ll get this opportunity again. Are you really going to pass it up?”. . .
Or: Alastor gets wasted enough to show a sliver of affection to Vox (in the most Alastor way possible). Inspired by the Sparks print because it's absolutely consumed my mind. It was MUTUAL!
