Summary
The hiss was instantaneous. Then the world screamed. The decompression was not loud, it was total. It did not announce itself. There was no explosion, no dramatic tearing of steel. Summary
“Shes coming for you, Marcus.”
He stumbled back, his heel hitting the wall behind him, “you’re dead,” he hissed, his voice raw, “you’re dead!”
The corners of her mouth twitched upward, “and yet…here I am.”

“Shes coming,” the reflection repeated, louder now. The words layered over each other like echoes in a tunnel, “she knows. They all know.”
