Summary
Death had been the objective when he’d struck Chris across the head so hard that he’d fallen unconscious, but once he’d dispatched the remaining mosquito and went to deliver the final blow on Chris, there was a deep dissatisfaction with the fact that Chris wasn’t even conscious to appreciate his defeat.
