Summary
The man that comes bursting through the doors looks like if someone took all of Megumi's vaguest fantasies, put them in an oven, and baked them until done. He's tall, broad, buff but not too buff, and to top it all off he's got wide brown baby-cow eyes and a head of fluffy pink hair. Boyish. Cute. He is also, noticeably, bleeding from a nasty-looking cut right beneath his eye.
Pink Hair looks around wildly for a moment before locking eyes with Megumi and making a beeline for him. Megumi raises a brow as he heaves a cat carrier onto the counter, bracing both of his hands on top of it like he's trying to stop it from jumping off.
"Hi," Pink Hair pants, as the carrier gives a sudden rattle and lets out an ear-splitting shriek. Megumi takes a step back. "Do you guys take demon cats?"

Megumi takes a deep breath, curling his hands into fists. "I need your help," he blurts out, so quickly that the words seem to hang in the air for a second to untangle themselves, and—
"I'm not paying off your debt to the yakuza," Sukuna says immediately.
Megumi gapes at him. "What—no! What?"

Summary
Yuuji cracks the blinds open, just enough to let the light bleed in without staging an attack on Megumi's eyes. He kneels down by the bed and strokes a hand over the sleep-soft skin of Megumi's nape, watching as Megumi stirs awake at the motion.
"Morning," Yuuji murmurs, keeping his voice low. "Happy birthday."
(Or: fourteen years after Shinjuku, Yuuji plants a garden.)
