New Eridu. Last Bastion of Humanity.
In a world ravaged by the appearance of the Hollow, spheres of distortion that swallow all that is captured in them. Various groups of people have come and go into the Hollows despite the dangers that come with it, yet the profits that come with taking from inside the Hollow are worth the risks for many of these people.
But even so, the way of getting into the Hollow was easy. Getting out of it is the hard part. That is where Proxies come into play. They are the ones who help to guide those who venture into the Hollow out of it. Usually they play more of a support role, guiding the Hollow Divers from the outside hence their designated roles. However, there is one Proxy who also dives into the Hollow more directly, someone who isn't afraid to lend a hand to those who dare risk their lives for fame and fortune.
All the while coming to blows with various entities plotting to take over what remains of civilization and the world for their own nefarious goals.
