Summary
The spyglass was Parrot's promise that he wouldn't be alone, wasn't it? As long as Wifies held the spyglass, everything would be alright, because Parrot said so. And Wifies trusted Parrot.
He knows that no matter how much Parrot cared for him, he had cut too deep, too fast, and he just knew that the avian hadn't bothered to stick nearby to hear his goodbye.
