Summary
Din Djarin is the catcher. He’s a great catcher, one of the best in the world in Luke’s totally unbiased opinion. He might not look like a baseball player, and is often underestimated because of that. He’s the slowest on the team, but he doesn’t need to be fast when he hits home runs.
“I’m fine,” Luke squeaks. “I just... my mom sent me a video of me and my sister when we were 7 or something and we were tossing a ball back and forth. I said I was gonna play in the world series and... yeah, I guess it just hit me at the worst time since I need to go out and talk to all the reporters and-”
Din took a step forward, putting a hand on Luke’s shoulder. “Take a breath, and center yourself. You are going to be fine.”
And suddenly, every anxious molecule evaporates from Luke’s body, replaced with a calmness that he’s not used to. Somehow, Din has the power to exude calm and authority in a way that makes Luke calm as well. He’s lucky to have Din as his catcher. He’s been kinda spoiled lately, having Din as his catcher every game this post season.
Luke just smiles. “Thanks, Din,” he says.

Summary
Luke starts his first year pitching for the Toronto Blue Jays. He's trying to focus on the work, on his career, but something keeps pulling him away. An adorable little something who's the son of and extreamly attractive something else, both of whom he sees every Sunday for family dinner.
