Summary
Everyone knows how the story begins. A poor orphan boy, whose talent far surpasses the common run of artists, catches the attention of a duke eager to extend his influence across the country. Will Byers once lived under the patronage of Theodore Wheeler, Duke of Hartwell.
They also know that in a world that treats omegas as nature’s error, everything Will had was taken from him the moment he presented as one.
What nobody knows is what followed. Will did not only catch the eye of the father, but also that of his son and heir. Lord Michael keeps him hidden in the attic of his manor, said to be for Will’s protection, though the truth is harder to define.
