Summary
Hammer in hand, Tav stands before the Emperor, working on a compromise. In a surprising turn of events, the Emperor leaves him and turns to Netherbrain’s side.
Tav fixes up a plan to protect the squid from the consequences of its own decisions (and his own naivety);
The biggest point in the plan being convincing his companions to not kill the said squid on sight.
