Summary
In the lowly world of Hawkins High School, Sunnie Monroe is found in the center of it. Sunnie’s life is pretty boring as it is, but when her very own English teacher, Mr. Wheeler, makes some questionable decisions with fellow Art teacher, Mr. Byers, she brings her friends into the picture of this query mystery. What starts out as a funny thought, turns into a full fledged investigation of whether these two really have something going on. With pages of evidence, endless discussions, and the job of being their very own spies, the group is determined to solve this case. The teachers are seen almost everywhere together. Spending lunch periods with one another, laughing like old timey friends, acting like they’ve known each other their whole lives. And yet not a single mention of either of their wives. Because they wouldn’t be wearing wedding rings if they weren’t married to someone… Right?

Summary
Within the walls of Hawkins High, Nicholas Sloane and Devin Corbett are the closest of friends when it comes to their close knit friend group. They both stand alongside Sunnie Monroe, Autumn Finch, and Novah Owens within this quaint little group. The five of them make up one of the craziest, yet most understanding groups within their grade. Despite their closeness, problems always seem to come at the worst of times. At the beginning of their freshman year, the air begins to feel different between Devin and Nick. When Devin tries out for the freshman cross country team, Nick gets a sudden change of exclusion from Devin. With Nick dealing with his own family problems at home, this sudden space between the two really leaves a lingering question in the air. What happened to the sudden change in their friendship, and what is this sudden feeling remaining in the space between them?
