The Elfking
Anduin had always thought it was a made-up tale, a story told to small children in the darkness of night to dissuade them from entering the dark and dangerous forests, to prevent them from going with strangers who wished them harm.
The story of the Elfking, or Erlkönig, as it was often called. The evil elf that crept through the forests, sweeping through the dark shadows as it sought a soul to take, preferring the young and innocent souls of lost children.
Anduin thought it was a myth, as did many others.
But they were so wrong.

For most of the covenants, it is quite easy to tell who is a friend and who is a foe. But for the Venthyr, it is not that simple. To the untrained eye, Venthyr are all of the same race, they have the same skin color, they wear similar armor, and use similar spells.
With all of that, it was only a matter of time before someone from outside of Revendreth mistook a friend for a foe.
