Summary
Out the corner of his eye, Shōto sees you at the bar, forearms on the brick counter with a slight forward lean as you talk to Hanta. You’re all animated and cute, and probably saying something witty when Hanta cackles, then knocks Shōto’s incomplete drink over with his elbow in a big flustered fumble. Your arms wave with reassurance, but Hanta’s quickly shaking his head in apology before starting anew.
You turn Shōto into the man he hates—jealous, mean, impulsive—
And his legs are moving faster than his mind, until he’s towering above and behind you, body blocking your waist and that God forsaken skirt. You look up at him with wide eyes and parted lips, and it takes his whole soul not to indulge himself with a peek down your shirt. Unlike his peers.
OR: You are wearing a very, very short skirt, and Shōto Todoroki is…unwell. So is everyone else, but that’s kind of the fucking problem—

Eijirō tries to focus, really, but that one Guinness has him spiraling, wondering if any of this is even worth it, if he’s just an idiot, nursing the ache instead of letting it fade like roadkill refusing to die. Eijirō pulls away.
