Summary
Wednesday is the day he gets discharged from the hospital. Shane goes and picks him up. After six hours in the ER and a seventy-two hour psychiatric hold, he gets to walk out the doors of the hospital.
Shane signs the discharge papers at the little desk. He talks through the safety plan with the social worker again. He waits outside the doors of the locked ward.
