In the distant Vale of Thyrastra, they say that time is not a line, but a layering of petals. For House Rhodarys, the "Star-Bloom House", death is rarely the end of the story. It is merely the closing of a season.
Viraelya Rhodarys lived a life of quiet devotion and silent grief. She was the lady-in-waiting who held Helaena Targaryen’s hand through the madness of the Dance, the guardian who wept over the bodies of murdered princes, and the only woman who ever truly saw Aegon II Targaryen for who he was. She died by her own hand in 133 AC, broken by a world of ash and the ghost of a King she realised she loved only when he was gone.
But the blood of the Rhodarys carries a heavy gift. Waking back in 115 AC, Viraelya must relearn to live. Armed with twenty-six years of sorrow and knowledge, she sets out to change the stars.

This is a chronicle of the court as it was, and as it could be. It is the story of a girl who refused to let the Sun burn out, a prince who found a reason to be more than his vices, and a friendship that defied the laws of time.

What blooms shall return. But every return has a cost.

Notes:

- The story is divided into several acts.
- The portrayal of the characters will be mainly faithful to the information from G.R.R. Martin’s book "Fire & Blood", with occasional nods to the "House of the Dragon" TV series.
- The events mainly follow those of the book instead of the series. There will however be major canon divergences at some point.
- The Dance of the Dragons is supposed to be a tragedy where both sides are morally compromised. As an author, I will try to respect it to the maximum.
