Summary
“I trust you.”
The very first person in her life to ever tell her that. And it turned out to be him.
I can’t fail you, she decided. I also can’t stand the fact it may very well be one of the last things you ever say to me.
He seemed to need to reiterate, for her sake or his own, she couldn’t say.
Didn’t change the fact it was what she needed to hear.
Had waited for her whole life.
“I trust you."
--------------------------------------------------------This starts out more or less as a retelling of RE: Requiem from a certain point, with emphasis of Grace's POV. Plenty of whump and comfort ahead.
Will rework and add tags as needed. Please note that I feel uncomfortable with writing romantic relationships that aren't confirmed by lore. So any relationships will be platonic, for now atleast - or until Capcom decide to spill the beans.
Contains spoilers for all RE games, especially Requiem and RE4 Remake.Series

Summary
- "Go ask the Los Illuminados how it feels to have Leon Kennedy on your tail. Oh, wait, I forgot. He eradicated that whole cult and a whole village infested with Las Plagas in one night in 2004. When he was 27 years old. On his very first solo mission that had just been a recon at first and then turned into the most meticulous genocide you can imagine. All for the sake of saving one girl.
The only thing today and that night 22 years ago have in common is a girl. Every other factor, today, is in his favour. Not yours. Going after him right now is just a pretty elaborate suicide mission.” -The aftermath of depriving Elpis, the bringer of anarchy, from the ones who'd weaponize the antiviral. While the forces of greed, evil and power scheme in the shadows, our heroes have to figure out how to return to a life that for a child hasn't even begun, for a young woman that never had one of her own, and for a man who had to come to terms with dying in the city that has already tried to end him 28 years ago. Can they heal on their own, or is the possibility of a life together with friends and family not so much better?
If you ask Leon, that question is not as easily answered as it might seem.Series
