“Hey Mumei” Kronii whispered her name. Found herself almost addicted to the way Mumei hummed in response automatically. The sound was too warm, as if it held something deep within that neither could speak aloud. Found herself growing addicted to how Mumei always seemed to want to touch her in some way, how when she pulled her head away ever so slightly, Kronii was met with eyes that reminded her of prized amber.

Summary
Amelia mumbled something against her, voice lost and pitiful against her clothing as she remained hidden. Gave her the time to continue sulking at her defeat, waited until she finally pulled away and wiped at her face. Brought up her own hand to help her efforts,
“Can you say that again for me?” Kronii asked,
“It’s Mothers day” Amelia whispered, voice pitiful for just a moment as if the situation was all the much more worse that Kronii had no idea of the day itself. Bit back an ‘oh’ as she realised exactly what she’d walked in on. Realised it had been why the girl had been so secretive the last few days.“You wanted to surprise me for Mothers day?”

“Do you remember the question you asked me here?” Kronii asked, voice nervous, airy.
“I asked you many questions here,” Mumei laughed softly, fingers already moving to brush against Kronii’s cheek until she could cup it in her hand. Amber eyes glittering in soft amusement.“Do you remember asking me if I believe in soulmates?” Kronii clarified, the nervousness only growing more and more with every second, “About how you could meet someone and just know? That you could find someone and just know you were made for eachother. Like you’d met before and no matter how many lifetimes and universes kept you apart you’d still find them?”
“I remember,” Mumei nodded softly in response, keeping her replies short to let Kronii continue.Series
