Summary
Rook wished he could see more. More than their pinkies looping when they thought others were distracted. He wanted to see Trey’s thick eyelashes flutter, catching the yellow glow of a nightlight as his eyes rolled back. He wanted to see Cater’s long, demure fingers slide down Trey’s stomach as he trembled. The smaller man would doubtlessly grin and praise his friend in their special language—words that dripped a sweet heat like maple and cayenne.
—Rook Hunt enjoys nothing more than watching his friends fall in love, and everything that comes with it. (A TreyCay fic from Rook’s POV.)

Summary
Vil’s hold doubled in its intensity, and Cater squeaked in startled pain. “You see? This is exactly your problem. Or perhaps I should say problems. Always making excuses, always wearing a mask, always poking the bear because you don’t know how else to get eyes on you. Never mind the fact that you’re already adored, but no—you can’t accept it. I’ve decided I’ve had enough. I am going to retrain you myself.”
—————
Vil sees Cater’s beauty clearly, despite Cater struggling to see it in himself. Vil decides to take educating him into his own hands. (After the events of Ocular Housing. Vil POV. There is a lot more centrality with TreyCay in this than one would expect.)
