Mykah Rogers is a counselor who travels the Settled Systems offering support to those who need it most, whether they are grieving, lost, broken, or simply need a listening ear. One of the main things that sets Mykah apart from other counselors, is that she is willing to offer counseling to anyone, even if they can pay. She believes in the principle that everyone should have access to counseling care. Though shaped by her own grief, Mykah chose to turn pain into purpose. Mykah brings compassion into places where people are often overlooked, from the streets of Neon to distant settlements across the Settled Systems. Her work is quiet but vital. She genuinely listens, encourages, and helps others face what they have been going through. Her ability to see beyond past mistakes, caring nature, and her gentle demeanor toward all clients has given her a reputation as "the people's counselor".

Mykah Rogers is an original character first appearing in my two series Shattered Hearts: Love Always Finds a Way and Shattered Hearts Bonus Content. In the SH series, Mykah was originally planned to only appear in a few chapters. Yet Mykah became one of those characters that really stood out and developed into so much more than ever expected. She ended up being such an important part of the SH story and was the motivation behind the SH Bonus Content series. I wanted to give Mykah more story time. Throughout the two series, bits and pieces of Mykah's background came out.

This series is putting Mykah in the spotlight with her own story. It takes her story all the way back to the beginning with the trauma of losing her Uncle Charlie, who raised her from a child after her parents were killed in a tragic accident. This series will focus on her path to become counselor and there will be chapters featuring Mykah doing what she does best. Helping people.
