Summary
Steve Harrington has always fallen in bits and pieces. The way someone’s hair sits, or the way they stand when they’re nervous, or the way they smile when they think no one is looking.
Steve is always looking.
So it’s no real surprise to him when, just one week after Spring Break, he starts noticing Eddie Munson.
(Or: Eddie Munson enters Steve Harrington's life the same way everything that matters has - slowly, quietly, in pieces. Until Steve forgets what it was like before him.)
((Or: Eddie Munson arrives in a hurricane and uses his magic hands to turn Steve's walls ugly. Steve can't say he minds.))

Summary
Eddie Munson has always been sharp.
Not cruel.
Sharp.
His eyes are always looking for an exit, even when his brain isn’t. He’s always ready to move, muscles taut even as his arms hang loose at his sides. It’s leftover from when he was a kid, probably, when a single wrong move could leave him bruised for weeks.
It comes as a surprise, then, the first time his eyes go to Steve Harrington instead of Steve’s front door.
(Or: Eddie Munson keeps wanting to run. Steve keeps giving him reasons not to.)
((Or: Steve Harrington is good people. Eddie paints his house ugly colors and pretends not to stare.))

Summary
It’s kind of nice that Eddie and Steve have moved in together. At least, Dustin thinks so. It means that when he’s tired of the silence of his empty house being broken only by the crying of Tews he only has to bike one place.
(Or: Dustin Henderson learns that almost losing everything feels pretty much the same as losing everything. Except that almost means you still have something, and that something can turn into everything you need to survive.)
((Or: Dustin is falling apart a little bit. Luckily, Steve and Eddie can’t keep their noses out of anyone’s business ever, and they conveniently have a spare room. Unluckily, they’re gross sappy dorks and Dustin can’t escape them. Not that he really wants to.))
