to some extent, this should be called A Single Pale Pearl: Theme and Variations, given that that was the first written and that a good deal of Interpolation (particularly ASPP II) is derivative of ASPP. however a majority of Interpolation has nothing to do with ASPP and also the previous precedent is that the theme is the longest fic in the series. so I don't know - if you have a particular opinion do say so
