Summary
Ice prince. That's what everyone calls him. It's a play on words. People call him that because he's so regal on the ice, creating art with his body, each of his movements effortless and graceful. People also call him that because of his demeanor, an impenetrable mask that is perfect, but entirely devoid of genuine emotion. At least, that's what people think, but Till knows better.
He's studied each of Ivan's movements, both on and off the ice. Committed each micro-expression of his to memory and can now tell exactly how Ivan is feeling just by the most minute twitch of his brow, can tell exactly which smiles are fake and practiced. Spoiler alert, almost all of them are. Ninety five percent of Ivan's smiles never reach his eyes, no one but Till can tell, though.
How does Till know so much about Ivan? Well, that's easy. He's developed the rather unsavory habit of stalking Ivan. It started innocently enough, it's actually almost a romantic story if you avoid all of Till's rather creepy activities.

Summary
When a fan is a little too touchy with Ivan at an event, Till can't help but notice how uncomfortable it makes his junior. Wanting to help, he offers Ivan a solution: find a romantic partner.
"Who would I date, Sunbae?" Ivan asks, tilting his head to the side almost like a puppy asking for a treat.
"Uh, well, I mean I'm sure anyone would be happy to date you, but I'd do it for you, if you wanted," Till offers, feeling his cheeks burn in embarrassment.
"You want to date me?" Ivan asks in a small voice, eyes going wide in shock.
"I mean, it wouldn't have to be real, we could just pretend, so that people, you know, leave you alone."
Something similar to disappointment crosses Ivan's features and Till worries that perhaps the idea of Ivan even pretending to date him is so abhorrent that Ivan can't even consider it.
"Pretend? Is that something people do?"
It's a very bad idea because there are too many real feelings involved, feelings Till doesn't know if he can ignore.

Summary
Ivan is insufferable. In all honesty, Ivan doesn't really tease him when he's with his teammates. He's more of an observer, a bystander, not intervening one way or another.
With Till, though, Ivan is bratty, desperate for his attention in any form. If he was anyone else, Till might even think it's cute, but this is Ivan and Ivan is most definitely not cute. Sure he may be handsome, built, charming, but he's Till's sworn enemy. They could never even be friends so there's no way Till could ever possibly think Ivan was cute.
Till doesn't hate Ivan because he's mean to him. Sure, Ivan is annoying, he steals Till's shit only to give it back the next day, he teases Till, but not in the same way the other assholes do. He does it almost like it's some inside joke just between the two of them, well, more like it's a joke only Ivan is in on because Till isn't laughing nor does he understand any of it.
He wants to though, deep down and maybe today he finally can.
