A tangential touch, also known as the point of tangency, is a phenomenon in geometry that describes the single location where a straight line or plane touches a curve without crossing through its interior. Generally speaking, a tangent line to a circle touches at exactly one point in time, never to return again.
Kimi and Ollie both have the dream of reaching F1, the pinnacle of motorsport, and driving for historic teams. Their healthy rivalry and friendship blooms into something more during their time as teammates in F2, but as time wanes, the simmering sense of jealousy, inadequacy, and overwhelming pressure that comes with competing at the highest level threatens to separate them. It remains to be seen whether a pairing, like theirs, can be sustained or if it's just destined to be a blip in time that can never be replicated again.

Summary
Aristophanes famously defined the concept of love not as the pursuit of holiness, but rather as a pursuit of wholeness. He described love as this innate drive to mend the rupture between two halves that were destined to be a whole, basically saying we are all in a quest to find the one person who perfectly molds to our being.
Max and Charles were lucky; they found each other quite young. But ever since they were fifteen, competition and rivalry have grown to be the third person in their relationship—the thing that always brought them together but also seemingly tore them apart. That was the problem… Aristophanes never said anything about a third person.
So, that begs the question...
Are they the two halves that found each other in love, completing their pursuit of wholeness, or do they simply get in the way of each other's quest toward achieving the holiness and glory that comes with winning in their racing lives?
OR: Max and Charles love each other very much but sometimes that's just not enough when you compete against each other in the pinnacle of motorsport
