Summary
Oh? Wesker felt something squirm low in his gut as he pieced together what Chris was asking him. He couldn't deny that the thought had occurred to him before, in rare moments when he looked at Chris for longer than was deemed strictly necessary. As annoying as Chris was, the man had a way about him that Wesker couldn't help but find fascinating.
But what Chris was implying was outright unprofessional. A disgrace to the careful distance Wesker had tried to place between himself and the rest of his team. Something that would surely come back to haunt him later as he guided the S.T.A.R.S. team towards their inevitable fruition.
But it was also oh so very tempting.

Summary
Wesker gave a short nod in confirmation and fired off another shot, hitting the creature square between the eyes and causing it to falter. Taking advantage of its momentary lapse in pursuit, the two men rushed into the room and Chris slammed the door shut behind them.
As the door closed, it locked shut with an audible click as something mechanical whirled to life behind the scenes. Before either man could process what was happening, a cross-hatching of metal bars shot out from the sides of the door-frame and covered the door itself, removing their method of escape.

Summary
So bullets could hurt him… Chris noted with satisfaction, he was just going to need a lot more firepower if he wanted the injury to stick. His mind whirled as he quickly came up with a plan of action—fighting as they were was a losing battle—he needed to gain the upper hand. He knew the one hit he’d gotten in had been a fluke—something Wesker wouldn’t let him repeat.
So if he couldn’t hit Wesker head-on… then he’d just have to hit him when he wasn’t looking. It was a dirty way to fight, and not one he took pride in, but Wesker wasn’t exactly playing fair with the moves he was pulling.

Summary
He truly didn’t mind watching Sherry, she was a well-behaved child, and it had been a number of months since he’d last seen her. He just didn’t like the idea of William regarding him as his personal babysitter, although it did help that William was actually begging him for assistance.
Wesker sighed into the phone, “You can drop her off.”
“Oh, good. I knew I could count on you. I’ll be there in about ten minutes.”
William hung up before Wesker could point out that the drive between his apartment and the Birkin residence was most certainly longer than ten minutes. Meaning that William had called him while already making the trip over. It seemed that William’s begging was just to make sure Wesker was happy before he dropped his daughter off at his doorstep.

Summary
Did Wesker know what he had been thinking? He couldn't know… right? He only stared at Wesker sometimes… like… everyday when the Captain came into the office and Chris wondered how he always got his hair so perfect and if he’d ever take those stupid sunglasses off. Or that one time when he’d lost himself staring at Wesker while the Captain was talking to Barry about their new weapons and Wesker had told him to “stop fantasizing about other people and get back to work already.”
Oh.
Oh god, he definitely knew.

Summary
“Oh, yeah, you’re right. Help me get everything set up then.” Chris started to walk around to the trunk of the car.
“I’m sorry?” Wesker asked, raising an eyebrow in question.
Chris opened the trunk to reveal various bags and boxes overflowing with Christmas decorations—Wesker’s own luggage sitting haphazardly in the center of the assortment. Chris grabbed a box and turned to face Wesker. “We need to get all the decorations set up before everyone else shows up. Grab something and help me take it inside.”
