After Miguel forms a truce with Miles in order to catch the Spot, he's sent straight into the claws of a world overrun by symbiotes. Surrounded by so many pheromones, Miguel's long-forgotten heat comes crashing down on him, leaving him vulnerable for a familiar Alpha to come and lay his claim. Now Miguel has to figure out how to continue with life - with or without his new mate - and not die of a heat stroke in the process.

Fertility issues, an unbalanced cycle, or… death." She taps her foot anxiously, chewing on her fingernail. "The leading cause of death is this condition known as Heat Stroke."
Chasing after two anomalies is not easy, especially when one of them somehow throws you into a completely uncharted universe overrun with symbiotes. Things only get worse from there for Miguel, especially when his suppressants give out on him at the worst time possible.
And it only gets worse from there.
