Summary
Alice was not an affectionate person. It did not take a genius to know this. Sure, she was friendly, and was always sweet to Bella, but she was not affectionate. If she were ever to touch Bella, she would flinch a little, and rapidly apologize. If their hands were to brush whilst walking, she would snatch her hand away, looking elsewhere.
Alice was not an affectionate person, but when her mannerisms towards Bella began to change, even a little, Bella noticed.

Summary
It had started out with small things.
It had started before any of the Cullen's even knew Bella, back when she would come to school in her ridiculous skinny jeans and ill fitting t-shirts, yet somehow still captured everyone's hearts.
It only got worse when Edward fell in love with her. All of a sudden, Rosalie was subjected to watching Edward yearn for Bella, a thing Rosalie thought was ridiculous, but she would catch herself thinking, in the late hours of the night, that Rosalie could feel the same. She always immediately felt a wave of disgust.
Sure, the human was cute, but she wasn't that cute.
or
Rosalie is jealous (and quite possibly gay), and that would be fine, if she wasn't jealous of (and quite possibly gay for) Alice and Bella.
