  Perry doesn't know where he stands with Peter: he knows he loves him, in some strange way, and he thinks Peter might love him too, albeit in an equally, or perhaps even stranger, way. Regardless, whatever he feels for Peter doesn't really matter, the same way it's never really mattered, since nothing will come of it. Peter's just not that type of guy, and honestly, it doesn't bother Perry. Really, it doesn't.
