Summary
The worst part of a breakup, Saparata learns in waves, is feeling an eternity of experiences together rush past him like a torrential dowpour.
Saparata and Flux are exes, only one of them has moved on, and a conversation about cleaning a bloodied shirt is not really about the shirt at all.

Summary
Flux figures it’s happened countless times after all, between ice ages and volcanic eruptions and planetary collision, it just so happens to be their turn of it, and the sky is tearing itself open. The world is ending. Of course it is. So laughably out of his understanding and control that he can’t even fathom the reality of it all.
All that’s left for Thomas and Flux to do is watch it unfold.
The world is ending, but at least Thomas and Flux have each other to hold onto.

2. Summon a demon.
3. Enlist said demon’s help in order to pass Advanced Physics.or, Saparata learns that bargaining with a demon is probably not a good idea, even if said demon is his type.

Summary
Cassian can see Thalassa's sky stretch in shades of bruised blue in Tucker's eyes, melding and unfolding like the heart of a storm. Rain, rain, and more rain; remember folks, make sure to bring all your laundry back inside! came Ash's voice, tinny and trebly from his radio that morning. The hair on the back of Cassian's neck stands on end - anxious, anticipatory - surely because of the storm, surely not because he's standing on the same rooftop he nearly jumped off last week with the same person who talked him down.
In the eye of a hurricane stands a man named Tucker Whitlock.
or, Cassian does not know just what to make of Tucker.
