Summary
When Will pushed them off the cliff he had fully intended for them to die. He finally saw what Hannibal had spent years showing him. Hannibal had freed him and he knew he couldn’t live without those restraints.
Hannibal was ecstatic that he’d succeeded, ecstatic to finally be with Will again. He had no problem dying with Will, but he didn’t want to die without seeing just how this had changed Will. Perhaps it was the blood loss that clouded his mind.
So what will happen when both of them wake up the next day… or about three years ago. In their own homes, their own beds, on the day they’d first met. Is this a second chance, or some sort of game? And who the hell is Jack's new friend?Or Hannibal and Will “Die” and wake up on the day they met, in which they meet an unfavorably grumpy Woman that was not here before. The guys have to figure out who she is, how they got here, what their relationship is, and what they’re going to do.

Summary
Will just wanted to be left alone, he didn’t want to work with Jack, he didn’t want to look at crime scenes. And he certainly didn’t want to meet Hannibal Lecter. Psychiatrist, who is Jack to beg for help and then doubt his capabilities?
Hannibal really just thought all this was interesting. Dragged in to work with the FBI, slimy, but man is it fun. They went to bed that night with their own opinions, but they both woke to freezing water.
Or, season 1 Hannibal and Will meet for the first time at the cliff, somehow switching places with their future selves. How will they cope on the run? Will Hannibal unleash Will’s beast, or will he kill him?
This is part of a series but can absolutely be read as a standalone.
