Summary
Tom, along with Sam, Luke and AJ, were versatile betas. In this world of Alphas, Betas and Omegas, they were the rare few with changeable biology. Versatile betas were rare as Alpha-Omega couples usually had Alpha or Omega children. When they did have a beta, that child would have the ability to shift their biology temporarily to compliment their partner's. Once in a while, their biology would randomly shift too.

Summary
None of them had called AJ yet — they decided on that a while ago but now it was different — and Luke was tempted to ask again whether they should give AJ a call. He was rarely late. In fact, second to Tom, he was usually the one at their show venues first, checking out the sound and lights or helping Tom set up the chairs. This meant that it was even stranger than AJ wasn't here yet, not only that, he hadn't been replying to any of their messages.
