Summary
Following the battle that saved the city from Dr. Wily, the people of the city are working together to rebuild and plan for a more hopeful future. Megaman has lost his father and his reason for living and doesn't know how to continue or what to do with himself. Roll, the girl who convinced him to return to the city, shows him a path forward and helps him find community. But Roll is more surprised than anyone to find that the hero and machine she'd once idolized is still just a man.
This is a love story, but it is also a story of hope, of healing, of rebuilding, and of community.
This story is almost exactly the same as my other work titled Megaman: The Aftermath. The only changes I made were in Chapters 5 and 7, and the only difference is that I cleaned up the original so it's not as racy, and I upped the smut for this one. Summary
Megaman gets called away from the city and from Roll to perform a rescue with no idea how long he'll be away. Roll stays behind to look after Rush and continue her studies. Megaman and Roll are independent people, but their temporary separation forces them to think about how much they've come to depend on each other.
A love story (with some smut, because hey, why not) inspired by The Protomen cover by the same name.
This story takes place about a year following the Epilogue of Megaman: The Aftermath.
