Summary
A year with Dazai had made it clear that Chuuya isn't stupid; he realizes his partner has some issues. He notices when Dazai disappears in the Port Mafia infirmary for a few days due to so-called 'anemia' or 'dehydration'. Chuuya knows they're failed attempts. He never gets involved, but he knows Dazai wants to die.
But knowing what's happening is very different from witnessing it for the first time.
Or; the first time 16yo Chuuya had to witness and deal with one of Dazai's suicide attempts.

Summary
That one time 17yo Dazai arrived at Chuuya's doorstep with a cat… and a corpse.
Or, Odasaku is dead (again!), Dazai is a traitor who doesn’t know what to do with the corpse, and the only place he thinks about going is Chuuya’s.
Oh. And there’s a really cute cat too.

(This is a Dazai-centric fic. A path to accepting his own grief and having some kind of closure. The skk tag is mostly implied, and he's definitely not doing okay.)HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAZAI (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
