Summary
Rhea heard the king's words. She should be relieved, finally the chain that tied her to Daemon Targaryen was broken, they were both blessedly free from this hateful marriage. She could feel her eyes filling with tears and she forced herself to blink them away.
With a gesture that she hoped was casual despite feeling damning Rhea lowered her hands from her belly and bowed.
She had no way to be sure, it had been a foolish girl's vain hope to console herself. It didn't matter now.
