Summary
"Are you alright?" Hizashi asked, concern evident in his scent. That was weird. Shouta could smell him much better than usual. "Normally you're under a bunch of blankets. It's a little cold in here, even for me."
Something in the back of Shouta's mind decided that was completely unacceptable. Hizashi was cold and he needed to do something about it. Logically, he knew that Hizashi would be okay. That if he was really that cold he could get a blanket for himself. Rationally, he knew that the comment had been more about Shouta's abnormal behavior than Hizashi's temperature.
Typically Shouta was a very rational and logical person. He attributed most of it to his hero training and overall personality, but would but the first to acknowledge some of it had to do with his designation. Betas were seldom plagued by the instincts that effected their alpha and omega peers.

Shouta thinks he's a beta. He's not.

"Feel weird. It's hot." Shouta maneuvers Hizashi's hand away and returns his head to his boyfriend's shoulder. He's not sure why, but he thinks that Hizashi should know how to fix it. His alpha should be able to help him. "Make it better."
"Oh baby." Hizashi presses a kiss to the top of his head. "Lay down for me. I'll make it better, I promise."
