Summary
This is not a redemption story because this Draco Malfoy has not yet done anything that requires redemption. This is the story of a child growing up in a world shaped by prejudice, expectation and inherited beliefs.
Many familiar canon events will still occur, though some may unfold differently as choices are made, friendships are formed and loyalties begin to shift. The characters will remain recognisable, even when their paths diverge.
The story begins when they are eleven years old, but it will not end there. It follows them through Hogwarts and beyond as they grow into the adults they are destined to become.
After all, every forest begins with a single seed.

Summary
Here we are at Book Two.
This story follows the events of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, primarily from Draco Malfoy’s point of view, with occasional chapters from Hermione Granger’s perspective. While many familiar events remain, this is an alternate retelling, so expect plenty of canon divergence along the way.
There are references to child abuse throughout the story. They are not the central focus, but Theodore Nott’s father is not a kind man, so please read with that in mind.
