Summary
After being kicked out of Vee-Tower, Charlie seizes the opportunity to--instead of Vox having to face the wrath of Heaven, he stays under the Hotels 'supervision.' This came with the job title of 'guy who has to do anything you ask', and a lot of those 'asks' came from the King of Hell himself, Lucifer. Vox notices it's been a while since Lucifer had bothered him; it's been a while since he's seen him, and Charlie has a favour to ask.

“It’s fine.” Lucifer laughs, but it’s a little put on. Vox notices.
He’s been doing that a lot lately, noticing.
After sharing a weirdly tender moment in the king's room, the pair have become aware of each other. Not like before, they were certainly aware that the other was in the vicinity, how could they not be? The cannon incident was a rather nasty smudge on their confusing relationship.
Every time Lucifer sought him out for company, Vox returned the gesture by creating a morning routine in which the pair could greet each other without an audience; neither can put a finger on the strange tension, neither want to. Either way, it's getting harder to ignore.
