  Summary

Rookie homicide detective Kaelen Lanakin is prepared for the interrogation.

He has his badge, his notepad, and several questions about the body just pulled from the harbour.

But when Richard King, leader of the Phoenix syndicate, answers the door half-naked and dripping wet, Kaelen realises he has walked into a dangerous game of chess.

And Richard has already made the first move.
