Summary
Ivan and Till were friends, best friends, even. Their relationship had never been normal, but over the years they could both agree they were closer to each other than to anyone else in their group.
Ivan was in love with her, an unrequited thing she had no intention to confess, afraid it might make her lose Till for good. Her feelings only got worse when they started messing around, though, and Ivan was conflicted.
None of it seemed to mean anything to Till, and as Ivan quietly pined for her in her own mind, she tried to be content with whatever she could get.

Her entire world gets turned on its head in what seemed like the most banal setting possible: their first houseparty. Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe Ivan was just delusional, but maybe, just maybe, her feelings might not have been as unrequited as she thought.
