Point of view from characters in my other fanfiction "Roots that spread"
Don't read if you don't want the insight it will bring for the original story, as those are things Sakura would not know in her story, but just small blinks in the life and thoughts of the people she had touched.
I choose to publish this as another work because I want to give people the option to "Spoil" some suprises for them, and instead yearn for the misscommunication, or choose to ignore this work and watch Sakuras story only through her eyes.Series

She ignored the small voice in her head that kept telling her she wasn't doing it for her family, but for selfish reasons.
Because she didn't want to give up her first friend. Because she could even, maybe! Be send on missions with her.
The fantasy of what would happen if maybe she didn't retire and stayed on a genin team. Was sent with Ino and came home with her, stayed unspoken and tucked safely into a small part of her brain she didn't like to think about.~
4 year old Sakura makes a decision - when Ino, her best friend, will join the Academy, so will she.
And she will be strong enough to be send out with her on missions.
That means dedication, and learning- things that came easy to her anyways.Series
