LANDO NORRIS: Copy. Is everyone alright? [Voice cracking, breathless] Will, who is that? Who is in the wall in Turn 7?
ENGINEER: It’s… [Brief pause] It’s Oscar, Lando. Oscar has had a major shunt.
Oscar Piastri suffers a horrific, violent crash mid-race.
Lando is forced to live through every agonizing second of the aftermath, facing his worst nightmare as he waits for news. Watching the flames and the debris, he is hit by the crushing realization that some secrets are too heavy to carry to the grave—especially the ones he is always too cowardly to admit.

DAVID CROFT: THIS IS GOING TO BE AN IMMEDIATE RED FLAG! Wait—we’ve got a car stopping on the track! It’s the other McLaren! Oscar Piastri has slammed on the brakes in the middle of the track right before the run-off area! He’s come to a complete halt! Race Control is deploying the Safety Car, but Piastri isn’t waiting… He’s pulling the steering wheel off and jumping out of the cockpit! Oscar Piastri has left his car and is running desperately across the gravel toward Lando Norris’s wrecked car!
To the world, Lando Norris has just suffered the worst crash of the season.
To Oscar, the fire on the track means losing his entire world. Forced to cope with the brutal aftermath of the crash and the weight of a love he took too long to acknowledge, Oscar will be driven to throw professional caution out the window to hold onto the only real thing he has left outside of racing.
