Summary
The ride on the Heli is rather tense, since emergency care had to be given to James the second he stepped foot on the chopper, and it was bloody. Natasha kept her gaze politely averted, but she could still see from the corner of her eye as Steve offered James his forearm to bite down on while an impatient nurse hovers, waiting to take out the metal, a toolkit by her side.
“’m not chewin’ through your G’d damned arm, Steve—”
“Shaddup, ‘s either this or your teeth turn to pieces of shrapnel and I’m not letting Morita harass me about not doing this proper—”

“You telling me that your ass in these jeans isn’t temptation enough, huh? No, you hadta pair it with the tightest—” here Bucky quickly switches focus from Steve’s behind to his pecs, squeezing one hard enough to make Steve let out a little moan, blond lashes fluttering.
“—and I mean tightest, at least three sizes too small, really Rogers—shirt on a man whose tits girls are deathly jealous of. You saying that you weren’t tryna get some tonight, sweetheart? You gonna lie to me like that, are you?”
“Jesus, Buck,” Steve groans.

Summary
In answer, Steve leans forward a bit, and Bucky puts a hand on the nape of his neck to better hold him, and they’re kissing, close-mouthed at first, just a chaste little thing.
Bucky’s gonna leave it there and then bully Steve into eating something, herd him into a warm shower and make sure he takes a good, long nap, but then Steve pushes back a little, opening his mouth wider, something desperate and needy behind the innocuous action, and Bucky thinks Oh, baby.
