“Well, the two-year anniversary of when we first met is coming up.” Buck sheepishly remarks, and Athena looks at him and shakes her head.
“Buckley, are you seriously proposing on the same day he yelled at you?” Athena stands up, grabs a bottle of wine, and pours it into her glass. “I will never understand you.”
“Yes… perhaps this time he won’t hate me?” Buck can still picture Eddie’s face when he pulled up at the hospital and chewed him out. Buck had never been so turned on in his life, but he never thought Captain Eddie Diaz would look his way, let alone ask him out.
