Summary
It’s 1683. Itoshi Sae is a fork, the eldest princess of her kingdom. She’s the only fork present in the castle (except for Hiori). Soon many things are expected to happen in 3 weeks time, choose a noble and for that noble to purpose at the ball. Still she decides one night to go out for a night time walk. But as she makes her way back she drops her keys to get back. She follows a river chasing after it and in the process she tumbles and falls. She thinks she’ll die…before she even fulfilled her greed. Yet before she succumbs a figure with bright pink eyes finds her. And luckily the next day she wakes up back at castle. But everything feels weird.
After that she sees those striking pink eyes appear more than she should. It makes the hairs on her body stick of like prey.
Sae is the furthest things from prey.

Or a medieval cakeverse fic where Sae is a fork and a princess. Shidou is a cake and a shapeshifter who’s basically lived since the rise of humanity. Both trying to get a happy ever after, but with the strings that have been pulled for Sae’s future is—and would be—a bit hard to work around if this upcoming ball didn’t give an opportunity.

Summary
The tears were black. A nasty color, because everything goes black for Sae. Running down my face it felt like blood as if I've been stabbed. Stabbed in the heart. Maybe it's something that Sae would've liked to taste. Wipping the tears smoothly and softly off my face, and licking it with her tongue to taste. With those teal eyes staring into my soul as if I'm an inferior being. No she wouldn't.
