  Summary

  They’re at Shane’s cottage. They’ve officially said “I love you”, they came out to Shane’s parents, and they’d promised to be honest with each other while here. So why does it feel like Ilya is still hiding something?
  All day, Ilya has seemed nervous, uncertain. He hadn’t even seemed like this when they’d gone to talk to the Hollanders after David had caught them at the cottage. He almost seems like he’s preparing for rejection, which is stupid. Shane has waited way too long for this to let him go now.
