Phat played with the rope in his hands, and Kaye's gaze lingered on his long fingers brushing it gently, and then grabbing it firmly. "It was a great idea you had. It'll definitely be more comfortable than handcuffs. Your wrists are so sore and so bruised already from being handcuffed to me all day."
Phat ties Kaye up for the night.

Summary
Kaye was still zoned out, staring empty eyed right in front of him, when Phat gently rubbed a soapy washcloth on his arm. He didn't know what he was thinking when he dragged Kaye out of the crime scene. Inspector Kitti had ordered to kill Kaye, and Phat couldn't allow that. He was more than ready to go to any extent to keep Kaye safe. That's what he thought when he grabbed his gun.
He took one of Kaye's hand in his, rubbing and rubbing the washcloth on that bloody palm.
"It's not going away." Kaye said under his breath, an almost imperceptible sound that could easily get lost under the frantic murmur of running water, as Phat rinsed the washcloth.
"It is going away, look." He poured more soap on the washcloth, brushing it on Kaye's hand until that stubborn stain was completely clean. But Kaye didn't seem much interested, as he kept staring down at the pink water he was immerged in.
Phat takes care of shocked and touch starved Kaye.

"I killed him. I killed him for you, Mini." Thun breathed heavily, letting the hammer fall with a thud.
"Why would you do that…? You knew I was going to kill him." Mini asked in a faint voice. He should've been more unsettled by the sight of such a well known reporter being a murderer. But he wasn't.

Summary
The next sane thing to do would be arresting Kaye, as the prime suspect for a serial murder case. But Phat had other plans. Kaye's life was messed up already, and Phat had followed him enough to know he was innocent. He now had to protect him from the police, and the best way to do that was making him disappear.
Was it so twisted to think about forcefully taking control of Kaye's life, in the attempt to make it better? He wanted to take over, feel Kaye surrender to him and finally let go of everything that stressed him. Were those thoughts really as sick as they sounded?
