Summary
A multi-million won legal transaction. A spite-war against the crown. A golden cage.
To the world, to Korea, twenty-two-year-old Park Sunghoon is known as the "ice prince"—the untouchable, flawless future heir to the Korean constitutional monarchy. His fate is bound by a single, unyielding condition set by his parents: marry a commoner to rehabilitate the royal image. Sunghoon vows to fulfill the mandate, but on his own terms. He'd choose someone entirely different from his high-society status, someone who cares absolutely nothing for the prestige of the crown, and someone his father would never in a million years guess to sit on the seat of the next "princess" consort.
On a fateful midnight encounter at a noraebang, with green-bottle soju split all over the pristine prince, and a soft, half-drunken music student named Kim Sunoo tearfully serenading him over his family's mounting medical bills and breakup, Sunghoon makes his calculations. In front of the flickering neon lights, the prince declares in his head that he has found the exact commoner he is going to marry. Slowly, their orbits violently collide.
