Summary
Literature has always been one of Ash’s favorite hobbies.
Of course, he hasn't had the chance to participate in the activity—whether reading or writing—for a long while now. Duty calls, afterall. The duties that come with ruling over a crumbling nation, but he digresses.
He's slowly making his way back into the field with journalism, though. A habit he formed during his kidnapping, you could say.
It's a nice form of self-expression, as Katie would put it.
The entries themselves are lackluster. Nothing that would make the front page of the island's newspaper or get an interesting headline. Just paragraphs detailing his family life—maybe his and Ewron's feud of the day. Miscellaneous things like that.
That's how they started, at least. Once he started delving into his feelings, it got rather… oh, he doesn't know—intimate?
Explicit might be a better term.
Or, Ash picks up a new journaling hobby.

Summary
Ash, being the world-class footballer he is, doesn't get nervous.
It's written down in the tabloids, recorded down in interviews, engraved into his reputation. The constant of his expectations is a familiar weight on his shoulders, reminiscent of the oppressive heat of a summer match, the trickle of sweat it induces along his spine only sparking something ascertain within him.
Because if his history of working—and living, practically—is anything to go by, Ash never falls short of perfect, always exceeding expectations.
He shoots, he scores. His betters make their money, and in return, he gets to celebrate with a stadium full of screaming fans (or haters; the boos and the cheers meld into one when the blood rushes to his ears), signing a few autographs along the way.
A fact that won't change ten years into his career, or the ten after that. Not even when he has to face his own boyfriend's team—and by extension, him—in a match tomorrow.
Which is because, and say it with him now, Ash doesn't get nervous.
And no, his incessant pacing on the rug of his lavish hotel room doesn’t mean shit. Shut your damn mouth.
Or, Ewron helps Ash de-stress before a match.

Summary
"We're in public." He tries to peel him off him, but Ash stubbornly refuses to budge, whining in protest. "Kurwa, do you want to get caught?" Ewron asks, exasperated.
"The PR team'll… they'll handle it," Ash retorts confidently. As confident as a drunk man can get, that is. His words are running together, sort of.
He rolls his eyes. "Your PR team handles everything."
His words spark something indignant inside Ash. "Are you… jealou— jealous. Jealous?" he teases, dragging his nose down Ewron's collarbone and the throb of his pulse. "Sorry. B-been a few decades since you were famous, and everything, right? 'S okay. Y'can borrow my management team, Ewron."
At his unamused expression, he adds, "Ev’ryone thinks you’re my dad anyway—so… doesn’ really matter, does it?"
The irritation drops from his face in an instant, replaced with a blush that warms his pale cheeks and sends a giddy sensation fluttering in Ash's chest. "So? You groaning into my neck isn’t exactly childlike, you know."
Ash giggles. "Should bite it instead."
Or, Ash’s impatience gets the better of him.
